In this week long camp, campers will immerse themselves in the world of theatre by playing drama games and acting out a play created just for them!

Class experience

Homework Offered
It would be helpful if students read over their scripts independently a couple times each day.
0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
All campers will be given a unique certificate at the end of the camp, designed to recognize their gifts and strengths.
Grades Offered
Learners will need some paper, pencil crayons or markers, and a pencil to design their backdrop. They will also need to use clothing pieces out of their own wardrobes for their costumes.

I will be providing a PDF with the camp production script on the second day of camp.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
At some times during this camp, I will use breakout rooms to allow campers to collaborate together when coming up with a skit. I will use different devices to be physically present in each breakout room in case any concerns or questions arise, but will allow the campers to take the lead in terms of coming up with the skit and practicing with their group. I want their creativity to be able to shine!
We will use Voki to experiment with character voices.

I will write the script for the camp myself, based off of camper suggestions.
