Class Experience

This club was created to give learners a safe space to grow as actors and build friendships along the way. I hope to empower young girls to believe in themselves and find their voice. Inspired by the success of my first drama club, this club is designed for older learners ages 12-15. Students will learn or build onto what they already know about acting and theater through games, improvisation, scene work, mini-plays, and singing while having fun as a group! This is also a warm environment where students can practice and perform monologues to prepare for auditions with the support of a teacher and audience of peers.  
I strive to create a welcoming environment where my students can grow confident in their craft while building friendships with like-minded kids. Students of all acting levels are welcome!

Hello parents and learners! I am a Theater teacher as well as a professional actress, voice-over artist, and singer. I teach a variety of classes dedicated to theater and music. I invite you to check out my online classroom!

I have a Bachelor's degree in Dramatic Arts and 13 years of experience working in Theater Arts and Music education with all ages from toddlers to adults. I worked as a theater and music teaching artist at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center in Nashville, Tennessee for the past 8 years as well as the Disney Musicals in Schools program bringing the magic of Disney to elementary and middle schools.
I have worked at The Great Lakes Theater in Cleveland, Ohio bringing classic theater to grades K-12 as both a professional actor and teacher and I am a former vocal coach at the School of Rock.

I love teaching and giving my students the necessary tools to become theater and music artists themselves. My goal is to build their confidence and help them make a personal connection with what they are learning. And of course, have fun along the way!

I am a mommy to a sweet 5-year-old boy, 3 year old girl and a brand new baby boy. I am also married to a wonderful fellow Outschool music teacher named Jared.  I have an adorable dog named Walt who you may even see in the classroom.  See ya soon!
