Learners will explore characters, setting, feelings and the order of events in a series of children's books. Learners will have the opportunity to perform the parts of any or all characters in the story. Students will be able to move and use their voices to turn into characters in the story. The chosen book will be listed ahead of time, however, it is not necessary for learners to be familiar with it when they come to class. Learners will be able to become animals, other people and...
Students will learn some basic acting skills while being exposed to reading. They will also learn cooperation and listening skills through the exercises.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
