Bearded Dragons are native to Australia and are one of the easiest pet lizards to maintain because they are as unique as the Australian outback. Come join us each week to learn all about their history, special care procedures, housing, how to handle, and even feed these amazing dragons. My very own bearded dragon "Arnold" will be joining us each week as we explore the many cool facts and behaviors this particular species offers. Our class will have fun each week viewing short video clips while reading fascinating stories that will allow us to discuss bearded dragons for in-depth learning. As always.....YOUR BEARDED DRAGON is welcome to join you. You do not need to own a bearded dragon to join this fun course but, be prepared because you may just fall in love and need one of your very own. Topics to be discussed: Week 1: Bearded Dragons, the Australian Outback & Bearded Dragons in Captivity (Housing & Special Care) Week 2: A Bearded Dragons Appetite, How to Feed a Dragon, & How to Handle and Tame Your Dragon Plus Other Cool Facts

Teacher expertise and credentials
I have many years of experience with various animals and have noticed that bearded dragons are normally overlooked as a first-time pet. This class is to provide students as well as parents with the knowledge necessary in caring for these amazing creatures; this course is also designed to provide students a chance to learn about this amazing creature first hand even if a bearded dragon is not an option for your family. I have over ten years of experience in teaching various ages and educational levels; this course is designed for all learning levels.
