During this 10 session learners will create and take on the role of a dragon inspired by the world Tui T Sutherland created in “Wings of Fire” through art and craft, storybuilding, discussion, and Adventure Quests.
Class experience
Welcome to Jade Mountain Academy where dragonets and hybrids from the Pyrrhia and Pantala work together side by side as they learn to respect each other's differences, strengths and weaknesses. Our story takes place 10 years after Jade Mountain Academy was founded. Learners will take on the roles of dragonets invited to attend the school founded by the Dragonets of Destiny. Learners are encouraged to participate in programming “in character” as much as possible. Together they will build skills in team work, leadership, creative problem solving, and self confidence all while having fun working together with other Wings of Fire Fans.
Supply list will be shared in the classroom.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
