The Dragon Quest is a beginners guide to musical composition. Each day, I will read the chapter and describe how we will compose the song for that chapter in order to continue the quest together. My teaching style is very fun, interactive and patient - and honestly, I love teaching piano - so this program is one of my FAVOURITES! Student will learn the basics on how to compose a piece of music at the piano. I will guide them with step by step instructions at each lesson.
Certification: RCM Elementary Specialist History & Theory Level 9 Private Piano, Voice & Theory Teacher with 20+ years of experience
Homework Offered
Homework will be required as each student will need to complete their composition before next class. Each composition is very small and should take no more than 30 minutes to complete each day (maximum) Homework will be done individually, but each student is welcome to share their compositions with the class if they choose.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
