There is no formal assessment for this class. The focus is on creativity and practice!Class Experience
We will discuss the basics of acrylic painting to make sure students know how to take care of brushes, clean the brushes and layer colors. The class is structured as a step by step demonstration. Students can add elements or make their own creative decisions in the artwork as much as they’d like. In this class I encourage conversation! Students can interact with me as much as needed. I also give positive feedback and suggestions along the way. There is no prior knowledge or art experience needed for this class. All that is needed is a positive attitude and to want to be creative and have fun!
Learning Goals
Students will practice using acrylic paints effectively and safely. Students will paint a dragon scene.

A set of acrylic paints Canvas board, canvas, or canvas paper- suitable for acrylic paints At least 3 sizes of paintbrushes Cup of water Old cloth or something similar to cover the table/work surface Paper towel A pallette or paper plate(s)
