Description

Class Experience

In this class, we will be discussing the adventures of Drake as he finds out not only that he is a Dragon Master, but all that job entails. He will make friends along the way as well as meet some people who aren't so friendly. With dragons around, there's never a lack of adventure in these tales. Can Drake find his place as a true Dragon Master? Let's find out together!

Education: BA in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Communication and minors in Philosophy and Theology from the University of St. Thomas

Experience: More than 9 years as a homeschool parent, more than 30 years of being an avid reader, 3 years of writing fiction while meeting with published authors to discuss different aspects of writing and books, 6 previous high school-level classes taught on this platform in addition to several classes taught on the aspects of writing on Outschool as well as at local libraries for more than 2 years, I am also a Municipal Liaison for the NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) program

Class 1: Chapters 1-5 (pages 1-28)

Class 2: Chapters 6-10 (pages 29-61)

Class 3: Chapters 11-14 (pages 62-90) and literary terms!

All students should have a copy of Dragon Masters: Secret of the Water Dragon as well a copy of the literary terms which will be provided in the classroom during the week of class.

2 hours 15 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
