In this one-week class, we will be discussing the 17th book in the Dragon Masters series!

Class Experience

In this class, we will be discussing the adventures of Drake as he finds out not only that he is a Dragon Master, but all that job entails. He will make friends along the way as well as meet some people who aren't so friendly. With dragons around, there's never a lack of adventure in these tales. Can Drake find his place as a true Dragon Master? Let's find out together!

Education: BA in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Communication and minors in Philosophy and Theology from the University of St. Thomas

Experience: More than 7 years as a homeschool parent, more than 30 years of being an avid reader, 3 years of writing fiction while meeting with published authors to discuss different aspects of writing and books, 6 previous high school-level classes taught on this platform in addition to several classes taught on the aspects of writing on Outschool as well as at local libraries for more than 2 years, I am also a Municipal Liaison for the NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) program

Please do your reading before class time and remember to not let out any spoilers! 

Class 1: Chapters 1-5 (pages 1-27)

Class 2: Chapters 6-10 (pages 28-59)

Class 3: Chapters 11-15 (pages 60-90), book reports, and literary elements!

All students will need a copy of Dragon Masters: Fortress of the Stone Dragon by Tracey West!

2 hours 15 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
