Class Experience
Draw & Watercolor - "Queen Moorhen the Mudwing" dragon from “Wings of Fire”. ~ If painting is not your thing, digital, markers, or colored pencils are welcome! You do not have to be an artist to take this class. You just need to love to create. I will take your student on a journey, Inspire, and build confidence. **Try my Ongoing WoF watercolor painting class. We draw and paint a different dragon every week. This class is taught in English.
Specifics we will learn: Contouring Shading Improve drawing skills Colors How to choose pencil types and hardness. How to choose paper and art mediums. How to use your paintbrushes. How to choose and mix watercolor paint. Create character and form using texture and shading. Learning perspective views. I encourage artists to ask me any art questions!!!
1 file available upon enrollment~ If painting is not your thing, digital, markers, or colored pencils are welcome! Watercolor Painting Class Supplies: See the colors in the class pictures that we will use. - Paper - "watercolor paper" 9 x 12 (Note this is special paper. Regular paper will tear and a canvas will not absorb) - Pencil and eraser - 2 qty - Jars of water - Paper towels or napkins - Paintbrushes - a half-inch and a detail ~ Round or flat tip - Paint tray for watercolor mixing - Paint - watercolor paints (see the picture for colors needed for each character) *Note that you will need to purchase a special paper labeled specifically as "Watercolor Paper" and "Watercolor Paints". ~ If painting is not your thing, digital, markers, or colored pencils are welcome! I will take your student on a journey, Inspire, and build confidence.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
