In this on-going class, students will learn to draw a dragon step-by-step while we talk about our favorite dragons in literature and movies. The class is ideal for children who love stories and love to draw. ⭐New to Outschool? Send me a message before you enroll!!!⭐ ⭐Get $10 off my class with promo code BFAMALBC4U10 until Jun 1, 2024. Enter the coupon code at checkout.⭐ This is a directed sketching and drawing class where students choose the style of dragon we draw. I will demonstrate one way to draw the basic body of the magical creature, starting with basic shapes, and working step-by-step. Throughout the class, everyone will have the opportunity to present their drawing or share with me for feedback. Students in attendance will choose from a selection of dragon images presented by the teacher or recommended by the students. We will vote as a class and draw the chosen dragon. Dragons featured may include fanworks from Harry Potter, How to Train Your Dragon, Dungeons and Dragons, Wings of Fire, Lord of the Rings, the Hobbit, dragon-like Pokemon, etc. Students may add their own creative spin to their drawings, imagining a fictional world for the dragon, including the terrain and their relationship with the human race. My goal is to create a fun, creative learning environment where students can comfortably learn and share their ideas with others who also love mythology, fiction and fantasy, and magical creatures. This class is great place for aspiring authors, comic artists, and game developers to develop characters and illustrate their backstory. #creative

Warning: This class may contain violence in the artworks and/or discussion. Dragons aren't always docile, friendly creatures, and we should occasionally expect them to start a fire! Dragons may be friendly, dream-walking magical beings, or they may be at war with the neighboring village. If your child doesn't like sometimes mean, scary, fire-breathing dragons or the weapons that may be used to fight them, try the one-time, Friendly Dragon class, even if your learner is older: https://outschool.com/classes/how-to-draw-a-friendly-dragon-dCfqCaTn
