In this engaging one time class, learners will have fun learning about dragons with a circle time show and share, reading books, drawing a picture, practicing their letters, singing, and counting.
Class experience
US Grade Preschool - Pre-Kindergarten
If you love dragons, this is the class for you! Learners can bring a dragon toy to class so that share their dragon with others. Learners will begin class with a fun song about dragon to engage them! We will read a funny story called, "There's a Dragon in Your Book" by Tom Fletcher. Learners will be encouraged to share connections, ask questions, and make predictions about the story. Learners will practice their social skills by talking with friends and taking turns listening and speaking. Learners will practice counting skills and one to one correspondence. Learners will practice singing and rhyming. Learners will practice recognizing the letter "d" and the sounds that goes with d. This builds knowledge of phonics. Learners will practice their creativity and fine motor skills by drawing.
1 file available upon enrollmentLearners will need paper and art supplies, such as pencils, colored pencils, crayons, or markers. Learners may chose to bring a dragon picture or toy to class to share at the beginning.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No parental guidance is needed.
