This course will introduce the key concepts of writing for all 3rd and 4th graders. It is extremely important to introduce these factors prior to middle school in order to set them up for success! Knowing how to write a paper is a critical foundation for these grade levels. Only up to 5 learners in class to allow for more individualized attention. This class will be fun and interactive learning. Please be ready to participate in discussion! -What is an essay? -Example of a three paragraph essay. -Components of a three paragraph essay. -Choosing a topic for your essay. -Breakdown- Introduction, body, conclusion -Example of Pre-writing 101 will introduce the foundations and fill in any gaps. At the end of class, we select a topic and work on that topic as an essay in 201. Make sure to book into Writing PART 2- 3rd and 4th grade or Private 1 on 1 tutoring if you prefer in order to continue working on your essays with Dr. W!
