Mastery Evaluation
1 hour per week. Frequency: Available upon request after each session or weekly, depending on parent preference. Feedback will include areas of strength and targeted recommendations for improvement, along with any practice suggestions for outside of class. Feedback can be provided through written reports, direct messages, or verbal feedback at the end of each session.
Grading
Grading will focus on individual growth rather than comparison to peers. This ensures that parents and students are fully aware of their progress, while also allowing for flexibility in evaluation and additional support outside of class time.

Class Experience

US Grade Preschool - 1
Beginner Level
This one-on-one tutoring class is designed to build confidence and foundational skills in reading, writing, and math for primary learners. Each session is personalized to meet the specific needs of your child, ensuring that every lesson is both effective and engaging.

Students will develop essential skills in reading (phonics, comprehension, and fluency), writing (handwriting, sentence formation, and story structure), and math (number sense, basic operations, and problem-solving). Lessons are carefully tailored to support their individual learning journey.

Depending on your child’s goals, we’ll cover:
Reading: Decoding words, building vocabulary, fluency, and reading comprehension strategies.
Writing: Handwriting practice, grammar, punctuation, creative writing, and organizing ideas.
Math: Counting, addition, subtraction, patterns, place value, and solving word problems.

Each 30- or 60-minute session is structured to balance skill-building, practice, and application. We’ll start with a quick warm-up or review, dive into the day’s focus areas, and conclude with a recap and practice suggestions.

I use an interactive and multisensory teaching approach that includes:
Engaging discussions to explore topics
Hands-on activities and visual aids for concepts
Games to reinforce learning in a fun way
Digital tools like slides and videos, where applicable

My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and adaptive. I focus on creating a positive environment where your child feels safe to take risks and celebrate successes. I use clear explanations, repetition when needed, and break down concepts into manageable steps to build understanding and confidence.

Learners will have my full attention during our sessions. Lessons are interactive, and your child will participate actively through discussions, games, guided practice, and problem-solving exercises. I encourage questions and adapt lessons in real time based on their needs and responses.

This personalized and engaging class will provide your child with the tools and strategies they need to thrive academically while fostering a love for learning.
