Description

Class Experience

This class is centered around discussion and expansion of knowledge surrounding the Downton Abbey world.
I am a HUGE fan of the Downton Abbey series! I have traveled to Highclere Castle, Inveraray Castle, and the village of Bampton myself to visit all of the filming locations.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
We will discuss the different characters in the series. Each character has their own unique journey that we may touch on. Some character's stories may be more sensitive than others.

For example, it will be mentioned that character Thomas Barrow is a gay man. We will also discuss characters like Mr. Bates and how he was arrested for murder. We will also briefly discuss the wars that occurred during this series. We will not be going into detail about any of these topics, but they will be mentioned. No graphic imagery or language is shared.
