Homework
1 hour per week. Homework is not strict, although we will be learning bass lines and songs in our classes. It's up to the student whether to practice or not depending on how much free time they have!Class Experience
In these one on one private double bass lessons, I will be teaching based on your skill level. All levels are welcome to join in regardless of experience level. We will be learning songs, different genres of music, bass technique, rhythm, harmony, and many other fun things. I teach lessons in an enjoyable way and make the learning fun for students. Most of the time, the lessons will be hands on the bass. I will be listening to you play, and also showing you things as well on my bass. We will be meeting once per week.
Learning Goals
Students will improve their abilities as a musicians. With rhythm, listening, reading music, and jamming with songs. Students will learn various styles of music on the double bass including classical and jazz, as well as learning to use pizzicato and bow.Classical music forms a great foundation for the bass student and I often encourage my students to learn classical songs. We begin at an easier level and slowly progress to higher level material.Other Details
