Class experience
Let’s go to Bali! This introductory, Dora the Explorer-themed travel class takes us on an exciting adventure to Bali. -Learners will explore the geography, beautiful scenery, and culture of the Island of the Gods. What's the weather like in Bali? Why is everyone there always smiling? -Learners will also find out about all the exciting things there are to do in Bali. What can we do at the beach? What are some yummy things we can eat there? I was lucky enough to have lived in Bali...
My goal as an educator is to present information in an exciting and novel way so that it's memorable to your child. I also love to create social moments throughout the lesson that give the students a chance to discuss what they have been learning and relate to the information as well as to each other. Students will have several opportunities throughout the class to stop and discuss what they think about the subject. These are always great little "brain breaks" for the kids and add to the engagement within the class.
A worksheet will be provided for parents to print out prior to class and please prepare a pencil and crayons as well. I will provide other activities for any student who is without a worksheet and ensure they don't feel left out in any way.
Learners will have the opportunity to sing and dance which is great fun, but to do so safely it is recommended they have parental guidance, a small open space in front of their screen, proper footwear, and adequate stretching beforehand if needed.
