In this 4 session class learners will participate in a live session with paper, pencils, and pens in hand. Be ready to doodle! The teacher will provide a series of instructions, how-tos, prompts, and demonstrations for our materials and learners will follow along and practice the skills discussed. Learners will enforce and expand upon drawing concepts such as shape, line, texture, movement, and harmony. Learners will grow their artistic language and build confidence in their explorations of technique and ideas. Learners will be exposed to positive examples of art critique and constructive criticism. Learners will come away from this program with improved ability to conceptualize, plan, and execute; these skills can be applied to doodle AND their personal art practice with other mediums of any level.
If homework is assigned, it will be to complete something we started in class. This will not be the goal of this program but may occur depending on the classroom culture established by the participating students.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
