Description
Class Experience
This fun, interactive class will meet weekly and is great for learners who need to expand their vocabulary. Each week learners will learn approximately three new words. The doodling technique will make this class fun and engaging. Class will begin with an introduction to parts of speech relative to the words we will be learning (nouns, verbs, adjectives, etc.). Many words will also require a quick lesson on prefixes and suffixes and their meanings. Then we will start our discussion...

I had been a public teacher and administrator for over 20 years before teaching online full time. During my years in public schools, I was able to learn a lot of strategies to help students be successful. I will use the strategies I personally used in my classrooms as well as great strategies I observed by other amazing teachers when teaching my classes. I want my students to learn in a fun and interactive way.
There will be a handout every week that needs to be printed and brought to class. Students will also need a pencil, crayon, colored pencils, and/or markers to use in class.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
