Description

Class Experience

This one time 30 minute class is intended for sloths enthusiasts between the ages of 4 and 8 years of age. Students will learn about the sloths natural habitat, their eating and mating habits, their natural predators and how they defend themselves. The class is structured so that each learner can view short videos and ask questions and discuss fun facts afterwards. I am a nature enthusiast and had the pleasure of visiting Costa Rica in 2015. While there I visited the sloth sanctuary in the city of Cahuita.  This privately owned sanctuary is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, research, and release of injured or orphaned sloths. It was there that my curiosity was peeked and have had a great interest in these cute and amazing animals ever since. I love to learn and teach about sloths to children in my home state of New Jersey where I teach virtually about sloths and other amazing animals.
