Description
Class Experience
Learners will learn how to examine and understand their own behaviours as a first step to make positive and healthy changes.
I have experience in working with students and adults in stressful environments, including with prison inmates and those who have come from native (Indigenous) communities with a history of trauma. Reflection and affirmation of existing strengths play a major role in my teaching.
Work sheets will be distributed before classes.
No assessment
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
It would be helpful if leaners have basic knowledge of what the topic of these classes will be before attending the first class, as it may help them to be ready and open to learning the material.
