How long can you keep the conversation going? In this weekly, ongoing class, students will practice conversation and keeping on topic by adding a chain link each time they take a conversational turn. A chain link can be added by making a comment, asking a question, or answering a question to keep the conversation going! This is a cooperative activity to see how long students can go without breaking the chain. This class targets a variety of skills including maintaining the topic, asking questions, answering questions and taking conversational turns. The chain is a great visual used in class to keep the kids motivated to continue on with the topic of conversation.
