Don't Be a Stick in the Mud; Learn About Idioms

 Hello, I am Mrs. Kelly and I am so happy to meet you. I graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Blue Mountain College. I live in Belmont, Mississippi with my husband of 22 years and our 3 children. I have been teaching school for 7 years, one year in junior high and the other six in pre-school. I also teach with VIPkid and have been with them for 2 years. I love teaching children of all ages. I believe in laying a firm educational foundation that will open the doors to many opportunities, to guide students to explore and learn new things, and to help them to become excited in various subjects. I enjoy teaching beginning reading skills such as phonics, exploring reading in interactive and fun ways. I enjoy teaching reading, comprehension, and vocabulary. I am very excited to teach Science and History as well. I believe that the subjects I am certified to teach can all be linked together, you can learn history and reading at the same time as science. They all go hand in hand. I look forward to teaching your child in class with Outschool. I love to work with flowers and plants, I enjoy swimming with my kids and going for long walks. My oldest daughter (19) got married in September. I also have a 17 year old son who plays basketball and a fun, energetic 4 year old girl who is keeping me young! We have a very small dog named Ruthie Mae.
