In this one time course, students who love dogs will have a chance to share their favorite pet or their favorite stuffed dog with other dog lovers while learning about dogs!

Do you have a child who loves dogs? They will love this online version of show and tell! Your child will enjoy meeting other dogs and learning about them! They will also have the opportunity to share their favorite pet dog (or picture of it) or their favorite stuffed animal dog with other learners! While talking about a subject they love, they will learn to build self-confidence while speaking in front of others! They will also practice listening skills while listening as their friends share about their dogs. After sharing, we will learn some fun, interesting information about dogs! Everyone will have the chance to share something they know about dogs with the class. If we have extra time at the end of class, we will end our fun, interactive class with a story about what else?! Dogs!!! Please note: This class is mostly a social class with the students doing a lot of the sharing, with some fun dog facts thrown in! This class is "doggone" perfect for all of those dog lovers!
Learning Goals
Students will learn how to be good listeners and good speakers in a fun way! They will also learn various facts and interesting information about dogs. While reading the story, we will practice reading comprehension skills. Although the lesson is all about dogs, we will be practicing several different skills all while enjoying a subject we all love!

Supply List
In this class your child will share their favorite stuffed animal dog or their favorite pet dog! If they'd rather they may share a picture or just enjoy watching the others share. Please help your child prepare a couple of sentences to share with the other students. They may also share something they know about dogs if they would like.
