Description
Class Experience
Calling fellow dog lovers! In this ongoing class, students will learn and talk about a different dog breed every week. We'll learn about their origins, appearances, behaviors, intelligence level, exercise needs, the puppies, and what kind of jobs they may have today. I will present a slideshow every week which will include lots of pictures, video clips, and audio clips when available. The presentations will be screen-shared from Canva. The media used during class will be from Canva's...
Students are encouraged to bring a dog show and tell item to class. It can be a live pet, stuffed animal, toy, artwork, or even a photograph. While appreciated, the show and tell item is not limited to the breed of the week.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
I will be using the screen-share function in zoom to present a slideshow. Each presentation will include lots of pictures and may include short video clips and/or audio clips when they are available. I will be using a program called Canva to create the presentations, so the media will come from their database. I will also be using media from YouTube and Wikimedia Commons. Learners will not need their own accounts for these resources.
