Class Experience

Students will engage in a read aloud of a selected chapter in the Newest Dogman book Mothering Heights. Students will share their favorite parts of the Chapter. Students will also engage in a directed drawing activity of their own Dogman.

As a Reading Specialist I know that students need to hear books and have chances to read books of high interest. As an educator I know that students need to be fully engaged, given patience and guidance. We will use the gradual release model of I Do, We Do, and You Do.

Professionally: I have over 15 years of experience in the classroom with grades K4, K5, 1st, & 2nd. I have over 3 years of experience teaching online ESOL.
As an educator, I believe that all children can learn in an environment that allows them to grow and experience things in a true and meaningful way. Children need to be educated in an environment where they can have fun and feel valued. Their curriculum should be based on things they enjoy and engaging all while fostering creativity.
I love teaching, crafting, and cooking!
