Dog Show and Tell: Discussion Group Ages 7-12

In this one-time class, students can bring their dog to club. Don't have a dog? Bring your stuffed animal! We will spend our time together learning facts about dogs, beginner training tricks, and learn how to draw a dog!

Description

Class Experience

Spend class time sharing your dog with others from around the world. This class will teach you some fun facts about your canine. We will discuss the joys of having a dog and how to take care of our best friend. 

Have some of your dogs favorite dog-safe treats ready for some beginner training techniques, such as sit, shake, and lie down. 

Learn how to draw a dog! At the end of our time together, we will sketch a drawing of a dog! Don't worry, it will be pretty easy for beginner artists.

Students will share and discuss their dogs with other students. In addition, students will learn some fun facts about canines and start to understand basic training techniques. We will also learn how to draw a picture of a dog!

This class will be taught by a certified 5th grade teacher and a life-long dog owner/lover.

45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
