With over 15 years of teaching experience with a focus in reading, I love to make reading a memorable and fun experience for all. I love to vary my teaching by including many different ways to interact with the text; be it through speaking, writing, moving, or even drawing! Learners all learn in different ways and so providing various opportunities to engage is key! I always strive to create an encouraging and risk-free learning environment to help cultivate a love of reading in all learners! I hope your child will join in this book club to enjoy all that reading has to offer!
Homework Offered
Students will need to read the assigned chapters as listed in the class schedule I will have an optional activity posted after each class if you would like for your child to engage further with reading and writing. Learners, should they choose to complete it, can send it back to me for feedback.Assessments Offered

As a mom of 3 little ones, teacher, and librarian, I always recommend parents preview the text to see if it is appropriate for your child. Remember your child does not have to be able to independently read the text to participate in this class.
