Each week we will learn how to draw two different Dog Man characters from the Dog Man series. Students will be supported through each step of the drawing process by watching the teacher model each step live at a comfortable pace. After students are done drawing the week's characters they will be able to add color to their drawings and share their drawings with other Dog Man series fans in the class. Students will have many opportunities to ask questions and chat with their classmates during the class. It is not necessary for students to have their own copy of the Dog Man books or to have read them before coming to class but it is helpful for students to have the books for reference. Here is an outline of the characters that will be featured each week: 1. Week of October 17: Dog Man and Petey (pages 222-227 in Dog Man book #1) 2. Week of October 24: Philly (pages 228-230 book #1) and Flat Petey (pages 217 in Dog Man Unleashed) 3. Week of October 31: Flippy and Zuzu (pages 218-220 in Dog Man Unleashed) 4. Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello Outschool families, and welcome to Teaching Done Different by Ashley Chambers!
A Message From the Founder:
As a current 3rd grade public school teacher of 5 years and a current Outschool teacher, I know that students simply learn different today than they did only a few years ago. This knowledge has required me to find creative and fun ways to provide Common Core curriculum to students in a different and refreshing ways that fits how kids learn today. When designing classes for Teaching Done Different it is always my aim to help students learn rigorous material in such a fun way that they don't even realize they are learning.
