Attention Dog Man fans, Dog Man has been wrongfully locked in a jail cell and needs to get out! Let's help solve all of the clues and answer questions to find the code to escape! In this one-time class, students will complete a dog man themed escape room utilizing Nearpod. Nearpod is a presentation program that provides lots of interactive activities! A code is needed to access this lesson and the code will be provided before class. Class will begin with a small warm up in which we will introduce ourselves, where we live, things we like to do and any Dog Man swag we have! After our warm up, we will complete the escape room together. We will solve clues together, answer trivia, solve crossword puzzles, solve a sliding puzzle and play Time to Climb. Students will also practice their teamwork and social skills. Each student will have an opportunity to speak in front of the class. ***It is recommended that students have read MOST of the Dog Man books, as there is a lot of trivia.*** We will work together, so if students feel comfortable reading only one book and working together, this is okay. But students MUST HAVE READ AT LEAST ONE :) This escape room is best suited for older learners, as it is more challenging. Students need to have some tech skills, as we will be using the computer, typing and clicking to solve puzzles. If you are interested in an easier Dog Man escape room for younger learners, Petey's Playhouse may be better suited for you!
