Dog Man Book Club: Build Reading Comprehension Skills
In this ongoing class, scholars will discuss the Dog Man books, and play a reading comprehension game. This will be a fun class.

In this ongoing class, Scholars are required to read a part of the whole book prior to class so they can answer questions, discuss, and share. A reading journal will be provided to jot down important events and/or unknown words. Reading comprehension and story elements questions will be asked as well as general book questions, like; Who was the main character. Scholars will be able to gain reading comprehension skills.
I am a former Special Education and Behavior Interventionist teacher, with over 15 years of experience. I have a Masters's degree in Special Education and a School Administration Certification. I have had the pleasure of guiding many scholars through managing their emotions, behavior, and academics; such as reading comprehension. I have found success in building relationships and fostering positive change and academic progress.
Scholars are expected to read each book prior to class.
Scholars will need their own copy of Dog Man books. A pair of dice (optional) Pen/Pencil A reading journal will be provided.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
A Worksheet will be provided.
