Dogs have lots of jobs around the world. They have jobs to help out in so many ways! Did you know they also are helping other animals? What does whale poop have to do with dogs doing jobs? What about rhinos or airplanes? Join this class to find out! In this class, we will learn the answers to those questions and discuss 3 unique jobs dogs have in conservation of other animals. A slideshow will be used to guide our discussion and show pictures of dogs completing these jobs. Questions have been placed within the slideshow to encourage participation and deeper thinking in the discussion (some multiple choice for easier participation). Students will also have time at the end of class to complete an individual choice between a quick-write or drawing activity. If you have any questions, please send me a message. Hello! My name is Ms. C. I am so excited to see you in my Outschool classroom! I offer many classes related to dogs, wildlife, science, reading, and writing. I love teaching topics from the beautiful animals here on Earth to the gorgeous stars in the sky. I love incorporating reading, art and science all together. I have my Associate’s degree in Animal Science, Associate’s degree in Elementary Education, and my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Middle Dual Education with a specialization in Science. I am a certified teacher, and I am currently a substitute teacher and an Outschool teacher. I strive to support all my students in learning and welcoming them to a safe space. I encourage creativity, pursuing interests, and a passion for lifelong learning. I enjoy reading, writing, and being outside. A hobby that has always helped me relax has been drawing or painting.
