In this one-time class, learners will have the opportunity to build a snowman with me, as we review and discuss the shapes to build our snowmen. The lesson will include a print-out for parents to help their learner cut out before the lesson. In the beginning of the lesson, we will review and go over our shapes. After review, we will gather our supplies (printable, and glue sticks) and start to build our snow men. After we have completed our snowmen, we will have the opportunity to name them...
Students will review and learn our primary shapes (circle, square, rectangle, diamond and star). At the end of the lesson, learners will have an understanding of their shapes, as well as a fun picture to help show off their knowledge of the shapes we reviewed.
1 file available upon enrollmentStudents will receive 2 printables - our shapes, and a background in which they can color before class. Please help your learner with cutting out their shapes before class. Please have in class: - cut printable - background printable - glue stick or tape
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Please be advised the use of a glue stick or tape is required for this lesson.
