Do you want to be a marine biologist? But, not sure how to make become one? Then you've come to the right place! Our "wall of marine biologists" has plenty of careers in marine biology to choose from, so whether you want to research sharks or teach SCUBA diving, you'll get a chance to find out more about your dream job. We'll explore some of the different options for careers in marine biology, and offer our advice on the best ways to get there, incorporating our personal experiences, lots of photos and videos and collating words of wisdom of over 200 professional marine biologists we've spoken to from around the world! The session is interactive so there will be plenty of opportunity for discussions and asking questions.
Learning Goals
Students will learn about some of the different jobs that marine biologists do around the world, and the best ways in which to pursue their ambition of becoming a marine biologist. There will be plenty of opportunity for questions.
