In this ongoing art class students will learn fun doodle art, line drawings and more. Some projects will be doodle flowers, abstract art and even some fun envelope art. Students will be guided through the projects at a relaxed pace allowing for instruction, conversation and making friends with others who have similar interests. This is a beginners course so there are no prerequisite classes or skills. We will be using pencils, fine tip sharpies in black and color, and colored pencils. We will also use blending stumps and micro-tip ink pens (if you have them-but they are not required). Students will learn some simple blending and shading techniques and practice some simple but fun art. Week of Sept. 12th – Abstract Line Art Week of Sept. 19th – Borders Week of Sept. 26th – Sunflowers Week of Oct. 3rd - Birds
Learning Goals
Students will learn some fun new doodles and techniques for drawing, shading, blending etc. as they get creative with their classmates.

Supply List
Students should come to class with paper, pencils, erasers, markers (fine tip sharpies in black and colors), pens, colored pencils. Blending stumps and micro-tip pens are a plus but not required.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Hello! I’m Teacher Sheila.
I’ve been teaching both children and adults for over 20 years.
I have a Bachelors Degree in education, I’m TESOL certified and I’m homeschool certified as well.
I am currently teaching English online to children in China. I also offer classes in Common Core subjects Online in the US as well.
I have home schooled all five of my children, 4 have graduated 12th grade and I’m currently working with my last kid who will be starting High School this year.
I am so very passionate about teaching that I even spend much of my free time in volunteer work teaching others. My goal is to instill in my students a lifelong love of learning.
In fact I believe in learning so much that I am always involved continuing education myself, whether it be in foreign language, improving my teaching techniques and even weekly public speaking classes.
