Do Re Me... Farm Animals on the Loose!

In this one time class, children will sing, dance, and play. Farmer Brown's animals got loose, and we will have to help him find them while we sing many new songs to guide us. Joyful music making!

Description

Class Experience

Our focus will be on participating and having fun - as children learn best through play. We will also learn many songs and movements that will reinforce steady beat, pitch, language skills, physical coordination, counting, colors, science, and kindness. A true musical treasure chest!
Hi - My name is Amy Spiess-Ki and I cannot wait to teach your child! I am a certified music teacher who has taught over 20,000 children in just over 20 years! My classes are exciting, music-based, integrated, and imaginative. I strive to create child-focused lessons that are well-planned and well loved. A typical class is seen singing, moving, reading, playing, and listening to each other… all while learning the lesson’s goal and often integrating language, math, science, and social studies. I enjoy being with children, seeing the magic in every child I teach, and experiencing joyful music making together!
There is no homework... but a little birdie told me that your child may want to sing their songs over and over again!
Please bring a stuffed animal, or a picture, of your favorite farm animal.
Please also bring an instrument you can shake (or a popcorn or spice container).
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Music and movement are interrelated. As such, we will be marching, jogging, jumping, walking, etc. Students will need a small movement space at times.
