What's included
1 live meeting
30 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
In this one time class your child will discover the 5 positions of ballet with a main concentration of 1st and 2nd. Students will start class with stretching and strengthening exercises on the floor. At this time, we will learn to count to 10 in French since all ballet terms are in French. This helps children get used to saying ballet terminology. Then, we will move to standing where we will learn basic ballet steps such as plie, releve, tendu and passe. We will also march and skip with proper alignment. No experience is necessary. All are welcome! It is a wonderful introduction to ballet and the structure of a beginning or pre-ballet class.
Learning Goals
Students will learn basic ballet steps and positions, stretches, strengthening exercises and French terminology.
