Description
Class Experience
Students will learn to model what is happening in story problems that tell them they should add or subtract. Students will become more familiar with different addition and subtraction strategies. Students will build their confidence in knowing how to solve math word problems.
I have over 15 years of teaching experience in the 2nd and 3rd grade classroom, as well as homeschooling preschool and kindergarten.
Paper and pencil Handouts will be provided in the classroom for use during our class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
