Hello!

I go by Ms. Laura (she/her) and I am an arts educator and professional theater artist. I have a background in teaching arts classes after school, touring immersive theater performances for youth, and facilitating arts-integrated curriculum in schools. Through my work, I have taught in dozens of elementary school classrooms and served over 1,000 children.

I have a passion for storytelling and I teach classes that focus on acting, movement-based theater, and puppetry. I often incorporate environmental themes in my lessons.  I believe that by sharing our stories and creating new ones together we can produce a more compassionate, joyful, and just world.

I have a B.A. in theater, arts administration, and Spanish from Drury University. In addition to being an arts educator, I am a professional actor, stage manager, and props master in Austin, TX. I have worked with award-winning theater companies such as The Hidden Room Theater and Glass Half Full Theater. I am excited to get to know your child and create together!
