Learning sight words helps children improve reading fluency and speed, therefore increasing their confidence as a reader. Students will be provided with worksheets to use during class. We will go over 6 sight words: a, big, can, down, find, go. Students will practice spelling all 6 sight words. Students will practice writing the sight words.
Students are encouraged to complete the remaining worksheets not used during class at home. This will serve as a great way to reinforce the material learned.
