In this course, your student will have a new adventure to enjoy with pre-built characters to ensure a fast-paced, engaging, varied experience.
Class experience
This class features a rotating cast of pre-generated characters and settings for a fast-paced Dungeons and Dragons adventure. Your student will enjoy a quick 60-minute dungeon, battle, and/or mystery. They will learn how to roleplay, think critically, and work as a team. As the teacher, I will function as the Game Master. I have taught writing, reading, acting, and roleplaying for the past 7 years as a classroom teacher and club advisor.

Please be aware that this particular game of Dungeons and Dragons that I've imagined can have fantasy combat descriptions and death. I will check in with the students before I begin any descriptions for their comfortability. You, as the guardian, can always include your own guardrails and I'll gladly abide by them. We will be using Roll20.net as a digital tabletop so students can see their characters and the monsters on the map.
We will refer to the Player's Handbook (published by Wizards of the Coast) as well as the Dungeon Master's Guide and the Monster Manual.
