In this 4-week course, ye will venture onto the open seas to retrieve the Pirate Queen's Finery. Be ye smart enough or strong enough to collect her merry treasure? Treasure abounds in this exciting pirate adventure.
Class experience
We will begin as Level 2 adventurers, setting sail on this unique pirate-themed adventure. The students will contribute and create their own unique storyline based in a pirate world. In Week 1 the students will meet Merry Tom Shadows, who will give them a choice of two treasures for which they will quest. The students will choose to retrieve the Pirate Queen's Finery or the Pirate King's Parrot. Each treasure course will be fraught with danger. Students will need to cooperate and work...
Students will practice and improve their math skills, debate skills, and communication skills in each meeting. The students will practice problem solving, and then convincing other members why their choices are the best choice.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Dungeons and Dragons: the Player's Handbook will be used to update characters and keep records for themselves.
