Each class begins with an introduction to a popular mythical creature, monster, or beast. Students choose which version of the creature to draw, then I demonstrate how to draw the basic body of the magical creature, starting with basic shapes, and working step-by-step. Students may add their own creative flair to their drawings. I provide individual feedback through the class, and everyone will have the opportunity to present their drawing at the end. Students are welcome to talk about their favorite fantasy stories as we draw. Fans of Pokemon, Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Disney's Hercules, the anime Full Metal Alchemist, Marvel Comics, and the Avengers movies welcome! Did you know each of these stories features a creatures or character from an ancient myths?
