Sometimes the darkness in this world is reflected by literal darkness. As the year becomes darker, many people grow darker inside. It is easy to feel darker inside during the dark time of the year, so for thousands of years people have gathered together to celebrate light at this time of year. Dr. Gray’s PhD in history, literature and criticism of theatre included a minor of religious studies. She has traveled extensively, including one memorable fall in India for Divali! She has been present as practitioners of the faiths and cultures of each of these holidays lit candles during their rituals in person, and is glad to bring the light of celebration to you in the dark of this season.
