DIY Montessori-On-Demand: Practical Life | Foundational Skills | Part 3, empowers learners' practical life skills, fosters independence, and builds self-confidence through Montessori principles. Our classes are built with activities to help your learners discover the wonders of their worlds'. Let's learn together! In this course, we focus on the Montessori approach to practical life skills at home. Learners will learn how to effectively guide their child in activities that promote independence and self-confidence. The goal is to create a Montessori-friendly environment at home, making everyday tasks both educational and enjoyable. Topics included within PART TWO are transferring with different tools, pouring liquids, and applying previous lessons in a practical way via art activities. Throughout the course, children will enhance their hand-eye coordination and refine their fine motor skills - crucial for everyday tasks and overall development. The course is divided into weekly units, each focusing on a distinct aspect of practical life skills. Each unit includes carefully crafted video content that explains the purpose of the activity, the materials needed, and the step-by-step process. Additionally, videos are complemented by printable resources (as needed) to provide an easy alternative to the authentic Montessori material. Throughout the videos, presenter tips offer valuable insights and suggestions to maximize the effectiveness of each activity. Our videos demonstrate how to create Montessori materials using common supplies, eliminating the need to purchase additional resources. Students are highly encouraged to actively participate by reviewing the class content and applying Montessori methods at home, fostering a collaborative and hands-on learning experience that deepens understanding and engagement. Our teaching style is designed to be fun, engaging, and productive. The self-paced format allows you to learn at your convenience while interacting with practical and dynamic exercises. The videos and resources are structured to provide a comprehensive understanding of each activity, ensuring that you feel confident with the activities. While this course is self-paced, you’re not alone on this journey. Learners have the opportunity to book individual meetings with the teacher to ask questions, seek guidance, or receive personalized feedback. Learning Goals
Children will have master the ability to transfer objects using various tools such as tongs and spoons. This enhances their fine motor skills, precision, and hand-eye coordination.

Transferring With Tongs helps children develop dexterity and hand control. By moving small items between containers using tongs, they refine their fine motor skills, coordination, and focus.
Lesson 2:
Spooning Dry Grains
Spooning Dry Grains enhances hand-eye coordination. By transferring grains from one container to another using a spoon, children practice precision and control through a tactile experience.
Lesson 3:
Pouring Liquids: Jug to Jug
Pouring Liquids from Jug to Jug helps improve hand-eye coordination. Children practice controlling the flow to transfer liquid without spilling, and how to tidy if a spill is made.
Lesson 4:
Pouring Liquids to Different Levels
Pouring Liquids to Different Levels enhances fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Children practice controlling the flow to fill containers to specific levels, promoting precision and concentration.

Parental Guidance
Parental guidance and support may sometimes be required to supervise young learners. We may need help using various stationary items (i.e., scissors, knife, stapler etc.), or preparing materials before class.
