In this bilingual class learners will be introduced to a very popular and delicious Filipino desert (which they might already be familiar with) called Halo-Halo. Literally translated as mix-mix, halo-halo is a traditional treat made of various food items such as beans, coconut, ube (taro root), Philippine plantain, leche flan (egg custard) then topped with crushed ice and milk and ice cream.
