Class Experience

US Grade 2 - 5
This class is all about creating gifts for people we love, with new friends we can hang out with!

We will meet three times and create three different gifts. The recipes for these gifts are easily multiplied, so students are welcome to make as many as they'd like!

As we make the gifts, we'll listen to Christmas Music, play Christmas themed games like "this or that" and share stories about our favorite holiday traditions..

Day One: Gingerbread Sugar Scrub
Day Two: Candy Cane Bath Salts
Day Three: Hot Cocoa in a Jar

Hello families! I’m Amanda and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to teach your learner! I love everything about education and feel consider being a teacher as part of who I am. It is my passion!

I have a bachelor's degree in elementary and special education, two active teaching licenses in Arizona and reading and ESL endorsements. I've been teaching since 2017 and I'm working towards a master's in child and adolescent development.

My goal as your learner’s teacher is to inspire them to be lifelong learners. Learning is scary and requires a lot of vulnerability to take chances knowing you could make a mistake. I pride myself on helping students feel safe, confident, and secure in themselves. I’ve always seen tremendous growth in students when they are in an environment that allows for them to safely make mistakes and learn from them.

I’m looking forward to meeting your learner and joining them in their educational journey!
