Description
Class Experience
Students will be able to utilize and understand division strategies to strengthen their division skills.
I am a licensed elementary school teacher with five years of classroom experience working with grades K-5. I am well-versed in all current mathematical strategies used in classrooms across the country and the educational requirements set by Common Core State Standards. I help all students succeed in math by finding which mathematical strategies work best for them as an individual. I then work with them to develop a deeper understanding of their preferred strategy. I believe that all students deserve a positive learning environment where they are encouraged to ask questions and their efforts are celebrated.
Students should bring something to write on and something to write with.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
