In this class the students will learn how to interpret the remainder in a division problem.
Class experience
In this lesson the students will be learning how read a division word problem, solve it, and then interpret the remainder. I will model examples on the Zoom whiteboard using the I do, we do, you do strategy. Students will be given the opportunity to solve problems on the whiteboard to show understanding of the skill. The following vocabulary words will be taught and matched to the problems (divisor, dividend, quotients, remainders). The students will interact with me using Zoom whiteboard....
The goal of this class is for the students to be able to interpret the remainder of a division problem.
I have a Master's Degree in Elementary Education. I have been teaching for 19 Years. I am currently a Math Coach for my district.
A handout will be attached the day of class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
