Class Experience
NOTE: While students are enrolled in classes with Jen, students receive their own unique login for www.education.com for FREE! In between classes, students can practice the skills they are learning in class, through fun games and activities. In these eight classes, learners will be introduced to early concepts of division! I will use a third-party tool from education.com. An account is NOT required by the student. However, a unique login code will be provided if students wish to use the website to practice math skills in between classes. This is optional. I will use some resources from this website in a screen-share. It is beneficial, but not required, for the student to be able to annotate (write, circle) on the screen.
Students have to option to review division basics on education.com in between classes. Games, activities, and printable worksheets will be available for free, using unique student login codes. This is free and optional.
Up to 15 countable items of the same size and shape that will be used to count, group, sort and arrange in rows and columns. (candy, counters, blocks, legos, magnetic letters) A white board and dry erase marker OR paper and a marker (pen or pencil is difficult to see on camera)
Upon request, the teacher will give feedback regarding the learner's progress.
2 hours per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Students will be given a unique login for www.education.com to practice the skills they've learned during class. This website is free for learners enrolled in Jen's classes, and is optional.
